In reading my lectionary thoughts you will realise that I do not always see the text from an orthodox point of view. I'm more interested in exploring the first thought that comes into my head as I read the scripture passage. Rather than expounding the passage, the passage may become a springboard to inspire me or on the other hand reading it can be like hitting a brick wall, evoking feelings of anger and disbelief.
